MOWE provides integrated piping services covering material inspection, fabrication, structural erection, installation, purging & flushing, hydrostatic testing and commissioning.
Our services support piping networks for Marine-Offshore, Industrial, Petrochemical and Oil & Gas applications, with emphasis on quality, cleanliness, safety and reliable system operation.
Steel / Stainless Steel Piping
Material receiving inspection, pipe cutting, bevelling, welding, fabrication and assembly.
Pipe Rack & Structural
Pipe rack fabrication, structural steel erection, positioning and piping installation.
Purging & Flushing
Piping cleanliness preparation and flushing to NAS 10 / 8 / 6 cleanliness levels.
Hydrostatic Testing
Pressure testing to verify the structural soundness of piping and pressure-containing systems.
Steel / Stainless Steel Piping Supply & Fabrication
Reliable piping material supply, inspection, fabrication and assembly for project-specific piping networks.
Steel and stainless steel pipes and fittings are inspected and tested in accordance with relevant product standards, codes and purchase requirements.
Pipes and fittings are assembled according to spool drawings, including cutting, bevelling and welding of pipes, tees, elbows, flanges, reducers and other components.
Fabrication is properly planned, scheduled and executed according to design specifications to ensure proper piping system function.

Pipe Rack & Steel Structural Fabrication
Structural fabrication and erection supporting process piping, utilities, instrument systems and cable trays.
Pipe racks act as the main artery of a processing unit, connecting equipment with process and utility piping while supporting instrument and electrical cable trays.
Single bay widths: 6 m, 8 m or 10 m.
Double bay widths: 12 m, 16 m or 20 m.
Maximum: 4 tiers.
Portal spacing is generally 6 m. For offsite areas, minimum clearance beneath the pipe rack is 2.2 m in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
Assembly, lifting, positioning and securing of structural steel and piping components for safe and functional fluid transfer.
Piping Purging & Flushing
System Cleanliness Before Commissioning
Cleanliness of pipes and components is essential for the successful operation of hydraulic installations. Contamination introduced during manufacturing and assembly must be removed before start-up.
Progressive cleaning procedures such as acid cleaning, solvent degreasing, purging and flushing are performed before final commissioning.
Hydrostatic Testing
Pressure testing to verify piping integrity before commissioning and operation.
Visual examination and completion of piping works.
Owner's inspection and certification that the piping is fit for hydrostatic testing.
Fill the piping system with water and increase pressure above normal operating conditions.
Hold pressure for the required duration before controlled release.
Remove test water and properly dry the pipeline before operation to minimise internal corrosion risk.
Hydrostatic testing is used to evaluate the structural soundness of welds and pressure-containing piping. Nitrogen may sometimes be used for pressure testing depending on the application and requirements.
