EMERGENCY SHUT DOWN VALVE SYSTEM (ESDV)
MOWE Emergency Shut Down Valve System (ESDV) is a highly reliable control architecture engineered for volatile Oil & Gas, Marine, Power Generation, and extreme industrial environments where rapid valve response and operational safety are critical.
The system is particularly suitable for hazardous areas with explosion risks (Ex), providing swift emergency isolation and automated process shutdown functions to contain dangerous fluids transiently upon system trip commands.
MOWE ESDV solutions are custom-integrated in strict accordance with global industrial frameworks, including ATEX, IECEx, and relevant marine classification requirements.
Automated Actuation
The ESDV control loop process is performed automatically through ruggedized electrical, hydraulic, or high-torque pneumatic actuators. Positioners are integrated to accurately control opening and closing pathways.
Smart Telemetry Signal Protocols
Transitioning from legacy 3–15 PSI (0.2–1.0 BAR) pneumatic loops, modern MOWE networks deploy 4–20 mA industry-standard feeds, 0–10 V HVAC commands, and digital protocols including HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and Profibus.

MOWE Quick Closing Valves (QCV)
Are a specialized subset of Emergency Shut Down Valves (ESDV) and are meticulously engineered to provide ultra-rapid valve closure for critical process safety applications. These valves offer a simple, highly reliable, and effective isolation loop where immediate shut-off action is requested.
QCV network arrays are commonly deployed across marine fire-fighting networks, fuel oil transfer lines, diesel delivery feeds, and other high-risk applications that require an instantaneous safety response during hazardous emergency situations.
The valves can be fluidly operated through remote manual/mechanical pull levers or rapidly activated by remote pneumatic or high-pressure hydraulic control systems. This fail-safe functionality is particularly valuable to safeguard assets during fire outbreaks, compartment flooding, gas leaks, or dangerous chemical leak incidents.
MOWE QCV packages are available in multiple casting dimensions and can be custom-supplied in accordance with project-specific standards, international class approvals, and unique operational parameters.
