Inspection & Site Survey
MOWE provides detailed inspection services for manufactured products and integrated systems prior to delivery.
Measurements, gauges and inspection methods are applied against approval standards and required specifications.
Offshore & Anchorage Site Survey
MOWE provides Offshore and Anchorage Site Survey services and manpower supply for field works.
Each survey is supported by a detailed Site Inspection Report including work process, observations, photographs and recommendations, followed by client discussions to ensure accurate interpretation of site conditions.
Welding & Thermal Metal Spray
Cast Iron Welding
Cast iron contains high carbon content, making it brittle and difficult to weld without cracking. Controlled heating and cooling procedures are therefore important.
MOWE performs Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / stick) using suitable covered electrodes including cast iron, nickel-containing and bronze electrodes.
Cast Steel Welding
Carbon content affects the hardness, tensile strength and weldability of cast steel. Special procedures such as preheating, inter-pass temperature control and post-heating may be required.
Our skilled welders select suitable electrode materials and welding procedures according to the application.
Thermal Metal Spray
Thermal Spray applies melted or heated material onto a surface to form a protective coating. Available coating materials include metals, alloys, ceramics, plastics and composites.
MOWE uses the Twin Wire Arc Thermal Metal Spray process to produce controlled surface profiles with different levels of roughness.
Arc wire thermal spray provides long-term corrosion protection and wear resistance for steel, stainless steel and other suitable materials including concrete, ceramics and plastics.

Thermal & Acoustic Insulation
Thermal, Acoustic, Ex-Proof and Passive Fire Protection solutions for demanding industrial environments.
MOWE provides insulation for hot and cold systems using materials such as Rockwool, Foam and Armacell, depending on application requirements.
MOWE's Hot Water Skid supplied to Shell was thermally insulated with USA Flex wool and protected with Stainless Steel 316 plate. Experience with stringent customers such as Shell and Technip helps maintain high quality and dependable solutions.

MOWE's Service Engineers and Specialists are experienced in overhaul, repair, retrofit, inspection and testing of pumps, valves and actuators.

Receive valves / actuators from client.
Inspect received equipment for physical damage.
Strip down and inspect equipment with the client.
Agree and record repair procedures with the client.

Turret System / Services
A Turret System may be integrated internally into the hull structure at the bow of a vessel or located externally at the extreme end of an outrigger structure.
The turret contains a large-diameter 3-race roller main bearing which transfers vertical and horizontal loads from the riser and mooring system to the outrigger structure.
