IMMERSION HEATING SOLUTIONS
EFFICIENT & RELIABLE HEATING FOR TANKS AND VESSELS
Flanged immersion heaters are widely used in tanks and pressurized vessels for heating liquids such as water, oil, heat transfer fluids and selected process solutions.
- Direct Liquid Heating
- High Performance
- Large Volume Applications
- Temperature Control Options
- Custom Power Ratings
- Multiple Sheath Materials
- Marine & Offshore Applications
Flanged immersion heaters consist of tubular heating elements welded or brazed into a flange and supplied with suitable electrical terminations. The flange is installed on a matching tank flange or nozzle, allowing direct and efficient heating.
Heater configuration can be customized with different element lengths, wattages, voltages, terminal housings and sheath materials. Thermocouples may be provided for temperature monitoring and high-limit protection, while element spacing can be designed to support effective liquid flow.
APPLICATIONS
WIDE RANGE OF MARINE & OFFSHORE APPLICATIONS
MATERIAL SHEATH SELECTION
SUITABLE FOR VARIOUS OPERATING ENVIRONMENTS
CopperClean & potable water
SteelOils & industrial fluids
Stainless SteelProcess water & chemicals
IncoloyHigh temperature & corrosive serviceCopper Sheath: Clean water, freeze protection, hot water storage, boilers and water heaters.
Steel Sheath: Asphalt, wax, paraffin, petroleum, fuel oils and compatible heat transfer fluids.
Stainless Steel Sheath: Process water, detergent solutions, cutting oils and demineralized/deionized water.
Incoloy Sheath: Solution water, corrosive solutions, air, gas and selected high-temperature services.
MAGNESIUM ANODES
SACRIFICIAL CORROSION PROTECTION
A sacrificial anode is a more reactive metal designed to corrode in place of the protected metal. Magnesium is commonly used to provide cathodic protection and help reduce corrosion in suitable water tank systems.
- Water Heaters
- Ship Hulls
- Boilers
- Storage Tanks
- Pipelines
Magnesium anodes can help protect the inner tank lining from corrosion and may contribute to longer service life when correctly selected and maintained.
HMI & PLC INTEGRATION
MONITORING | CONTROL | AUTOMATION
Human-Machine Interface (HMI) allows operators to monitor and control hot water calorifier processes. HMI may be provided through graphical touchscreens or control panels and can display alarms, faults and process conditions.
- Improved Process Efficiency
- Increased Safety & Corrective Action
- Alarm & Fault Feedback
- Remote Monitoring & Control
- Applicable for Safe & Hazardous Locations
- Siemens / Rockwell Platforms
- Real-Time Monitoring
- Remote Support Options
