Emergency Shut Down Valve System (ESDV)

MOWE Emergency Shut Down Valve System (ESDV)
MOWE Emergency Shut Down Valve System (ESDV) is a highly reliable control system specially designed for industries like Oil & Gas, Marine, Power Plant or other Industrial Environments with explosion risks (Ex.) that requires quick response valves.
ESDV control process involves opening or closing of control valves, usually done automatically by electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic actuators. Positioners are used to control the opening or closing of the actuator based on electric or pneumatic signals.
These control signals traditionally use 3–15 psi (0.2–1.0 bar). More commonly, industrial applications use 4–20 mA signals, while HVAC systems use 0–10 V. Smart systems also utilise HART, Fieldbus Foundation and Profibus protocols.

High Integrity Pressure Protection System (HIPPS)

High Integrity Pressure Protection
HIPPS is a high-integrity protection system designed to provide protection against excessive pressure conditions within critical process systems.
The system detects a defined pressure condition and initiates a rapid isolation action through dedicated shutdown valves to protect downstream equipment, piping and associated process systems.
For offshore and marine applications, HIPPS can be integrated with shutdown valves, actuators, pressure instrumentation, control logic and associated safety systems.
